This Private Tour will bring you one day experience through Dracula’s Legend, Transylvanian’s history, Peles Royal Castle and local culinary art. You will be part of a cultural adventure in the Carpathian Mountains that will immerse you in rich heritage of Transylvania, starting with architecture and historical signature of Romanians, but also introducing to you in a warm and welcome atmosphere of tasting local wine and food. You will learn about ‘papanasi”, “mamaliga” and “sarmale”. Each detail has a story, let’s discover it together with fun!
We will pick you up from your hotel and start driving directly to:
· SINAIA a beautiful town and a mountain resort in Prahova County situated on medieval route linking Transylvania and Wallachia. After the 2 ½ driving hours we will start a short walk to arrive at:
· PELES CASTLE one of the most famous castles in Romania, built between 1873 and 1914 on King Carol I initiative, became an important monument of its kind in 19th century Europe. The Castle have been built after the plans of architects Johannes Schultz and Karel Liman and decorated by JD Heymann from Hamburg, August Bembe from Mainz and Berhard Ludwig from Vienna, hence the similarity to German castles. At the end of the visit, we could talk about stories of Royal Family and enjoy some free time in the gardens of the Castle and admire the beautiful mountain scenery that surrounds this place. Somebody said that ‘the mountain air really makes you hungry’ and maybe will be the perfect time for a rustic tasting lunch menu on our way to Dracula’s Castle in Bran.
· DRACULA’S CASTLE. We’ve all heard of Dracula and we’re more than familiar with his signature pointed fangs, black cape his innate thirst for blood who sleeps in coffins and turns into a bad. But which are the real stories of this medieval castle that dates back to the 13th century and how it became the Dracula’s Home? Who was Vlad the Impaler and how we can translate the movie into reality of the history? A fantastic journey through facts and fictional story will impress us and will create unforgettable memories. We will not have garlic in our pocket, but some jokes will be enough. By the way, do you know what song does Dracula hate most or what kind of coffee does Dracula drink? We will enjoy the answers and will have a walking tour through souvenirs and local hand made products.
· BRASOV. Leaving Dracula’s Castle, we will arrive in Brasov in maximum 1 hour. We will stop in Piata Sfatului (The Council Square) an having a coffee addict experience for entire group, an walking tour of the medieval town of Brasov, look out for landmarks such as the Black Church and enjoy some free time, shopping time if is desired, self exploring streets, posting photos with #Brasov , but not late than 8:00 P.M. when you will be invited to discover new Romanian stories during dinner. Stating with 6th of December, Christmas Market will be open to be discovered in the magical atmosphere of sweets, lights, and Santa’s joy.

for Booking Exclusive Private Tour
Please take the time to read and understand the conditions of booking set out below prior to booking a tour with us. We strongly recommend that you also read the Highlights of the trip and Additional Information published on our website prior booking to ensure that you understand the itinerary, style and physical demands of the trip you are undertaking.
All bookings are made with DESTINE HOLIDAYS. By booking a trip with us you are deemed to have agreed to these Booking Conditions (which constitutes the entire agreement between you and us) and your booking will be accepted by us on this basis. The services to be provided are those referred to in your booking confirmation e-mail and invoice.
1. Acceptance of booking
If we accept your booking, we will issue a confirmation invoice. A contract will exist when we accept your payment. Payment of the balance of the trip price is due 6 working days before the departure date. If this balance is not paid on or before the due date, we reserve the right to treat your booking as cancelled.
2. Booking procedure and payment details for Exclusive Private Tour (standard offer)
Our trips are guaranteed to depart once they have fully paid minimum 3 travelers / tour.
To make a booking for one of our Exclusive Private Tour published on our website, please follow the procedure shown on our website or ask us directly through application form send by e-mail to: email@example.com. Where you are under 18 at the time of booking, the application form also needs to be signed by your parent or guardian or initialed online during the booking process.
The relevant details of an application form send by e-mail should be completed with each person travelling data: your full name, requested, date of tour, your hotel for pick-up planning, mobile phone. [ID1]
2.1 Taking in consideration that each tour requires a minimum 3 travelers, in case that you are a solo traveler, the booking form procedure for an Exclusive Private Tour must be fulfilled previous to your payment: please send to us an e-mail with your reservation data (application form): your full name, tour name, date of tour, your hotel for pick-up planning, mobile phone. We will send to you an e-mail confirmation with the availability of the arrangements for the respective date that you intend to join the rest of the group if is already booked. In case that your initial reservation can be booked, we will inform you as soon as possible and in order to firmly book your seat, you should send to us together with the payments details your application form by mail. Where we can not confirm the availability of the trip, we will inform you about the next date of a group departure on the same trip that you are interested in to book.
To reserve a place on a tour designed for small groups (usually <10) must fully pay for the tour prior to the start time with minimum 6 working days via bank transfer or credit card. [ID2]
Where we have already confirmed the availability of your chosen arrangements, your booking will be treated as firm and a contract between us will come into existence as soon as we receive your completed application form and your payment. We will then send you a confirmation for your application (Booking Form), contract and your invoice.
Where you book through our website without prior confirmation of availability, any electronic acknowledgement of your booking is not a confirmation of it. Please check your invoice carefully as soon as you receive it. Contact us immediately if any information which appears on the invoice or any other document appears to be incorrect or incomplete.
2.2 If you are booking for more persons, as the Lead Passenger of a group of minimum 3 persons, you are deemed to be the designated contact person for every participant included on that booking. This means that you are responsible for making all payments due in connection with your Tour booking, notifying the DESTINE HOLIDAYS or its authorized agent if any changes or cancellations are required and keeping your party informed.
By booking on behalf of another person or persons, you represent and warrant that you have obtained all required consents. You are responsible for verifying that any information you provide on behalf of another participant is complete and accurate and DESTINE HOLIDAYS will under no circumstances be liable for any errors or omissions in the information provided to complete a booking.
The booking form procedure must be fulfilled previous to your payment: please send to us an e-mail with your reservation data (application form): your full name and each member of the group, tour name, date of tour, your hotel for pick-up planning, mobile phone. We will send to you an e-mail confirmation with the availability of the arrangements for the respective date that you intend to participate together with your group. In case that your initial reservation can be booked, we will inform you as soon as possible and in order to firmly book your seats, you should send to us together with the payments details your application form. Your booking will be treated as firm and a contract between us will come into existence as soon as we receive your payment. We will then send you a confirmation for your application (Booking Form), contract and your invoice.
Where we cannot confirm the availability of the trip, we will inform you about the next date of a group departure on the same Exclusive Private Tour that you and your group members are interested in to book.
Payment of the balance of the trip price is due in 6 working days before the departure date.
Each application will receive an email confirmation once the booking is complete.
3. Booking procedure and payment details for Exclusive Private Tour (tailor made)
As part of our activity we are glad to design the Tailor made Exclusive Private Tour: this is where we build a tour for you and your friends. Your job is to let us know your preferences and we will customize your private tour. We will create a unique itinerary to suit your group needs, your family, employees, business partners or friends. We will gladly tailor a special tour for you and we pay attention to all details included. Please send to us by email firstname.lastname@example.org itinerary, visit sites, theme of the tour (historical, food experience, wine tasting, artisans, local artists, eco farms, photography, fun outdoor adventure, 4x4 ATV driving, helicopters tour), group size, average age, common interests that will define our involvement in your special tailor made Exclusive Private Tour.
We can include accommodations that fits the group’s wishes, fly tickets, travel insurance, airport transfer and surprising moments for special occasions (birthdays and anniversaries).
We will send to you an e-mail confirmation with the availability of the arrangements requested, proposals for itinerary and activities, Tour plan and tariffs per group.
In order to prepare all your requirements in a proper manner, please take in consideration a minimum of 10 days from the moment of receiving your e-mail application and before starting the Tour. This period includes our work to offer you the best tailor-made tour based on your expectations.
Where we have already confirmed the availability of your chosen arrangements, and you agreed the Plan Tour proposed, your booking will be treated as firm and a contract between us will come into existence as soon as we receive your completed application form and your payment. We will then send you a receipt for all payments made and our invoice.
To reserve the Tailor-Made Exclusive Private Tour, you must fully pay for the tour prior to the start time with minimum 6 working days before the date of starting the Tour.
A contract will exist when we accept your payment. We will then send you a confirmation for your application (Booking Form), contract and your invoice.
4. Your details for application form
In order for us to confirm your travel arrangements you must provide all requested details in an application form send to us by e-mail. Necessary details vary by trip; they include but are not limited to full name as per passport, date of birth, nationality, e-mail and mobile phone, passport number, passport issue and expiry date and any pre-existing medical conditions you have which may affect your ability to complete your travel arrangements. On some more demanding trips we also require you to complete and forward a Self-Assessment form. Failure to provide requested details may result in additional charges or non-refundable cancellation of your trip.
5. Significant changes to the itinerary
DESTINE HOLIDAYS reserves the right to implement alternate locations or make other significant changes to the itinerary, including cancellation, due to force majeure, weather conditions, operational considerations, or imposed security limitations in order to offer safe tour and pleasant journey for the group. In these cases, there will be no entitlement to compensation. We will make every effort to avoid missing important highlight of the tour in these cases if it will be possible.
6. Photography for marketing purposes
During the tour, drivers or other members of our team might take pictures or videos for marketing purposes. If passengers do not agree with this, please inform in time.
7. Dietary and Special Requirements
Taking in consideration that our tours include also food experience, you must clearly state all your dietary requirements at the time of booking.
Please be aware that a medium walking activity is included during tour. If you have a medical condition or require special arrangements that may affect your trip, please inform us in time in order to confirm you what is most suitable for you.
8. Personal Property Risk
DESTINE HOLIDAYS does not assume any responsibility whatsoever for any personal property of passengers. Baggage and all other personal property of passengers will be transported only at passengers' own risk.
9. Ordering & Cancellation Policy
All bookings will be confirmed by DESTINE HOLIDAYS in writing to your e-mail address along with confirmation of balance payment details. All our tours are subject to availability and we reserve the right to return your deposit or payment and decline to issue a booking confirmation at our absolute discretion. A binding contract will come into existence between you and us as we have issued you with a booking confirmation that will confirm the details of your booking and will be sent to you.
Customer may at any time cancel the Travel Contract by paying the following cancellation fees:
Up to 48 hours before departure time, cancelation is subject to a 50% tour fee/ person. No refund will be provided for cancellation within 24 hours of departure time of the tour or for no-show arrivals at the time and location settle to pick you up on the day of / and during the tour.
We must receive your cancellation notice in writing by email, and your cancellation date will be the date on which we receive your notice.
10. Pricing and Inclusions
Quoted Tour prices are per person. Prices include programming, organizational details, planning, handling and operational activities and are based on current rates of exchange, tariffs and taxes in effect at the time of publication. We reserve the right to update the Tour prices to cover increased costs, tariffs, taxes and V.A.T. received after prices are published and to reflect fluctuations in foreign exchange markets. This will do not affect your current booking price.
11. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that you purchase travel insurance and should be taken out at the time of booking. DESTINE HOLIDAYS will provide you the insurance applications along with your booking confirmation in case that you need it. Please send to us your request by e-mail.
You appreciate and acknowledge that the nature of this type of travel requires considerable flexibility and you should allow for alternatives. The itinerary provided for each trip is representative of the types of activities contemplated, but it is understood that the route, schedules, itineraries, amenities and mode of transport may be subject to alteration without prior notice due to local circumstances or events.
13. Authority on tour
Our group trips are run by a group leader. The decision of the group leader is final on all matters likely to affect the safety or well-being of any traveler or staff member participating in the trip. If you fail to comply with a decision made by a group leader, or interfere with the well-being or mobility of the group, the group leader may direct you to leave the trip immediately, with no right of refund. We may also elect not to carry you on any future trips booked. You must at all times comply with the laws, customs, foreign exchange and drug regulations, and you also agree to travel in accordance with our responsible travel guidelines.
During the tour you will not be allowed to drink alcohol and/or use other illegal substances.
During the tour, drivers will not wait more than 15 minutes for late passengers.
14. Passports and Visas
You are solely responsible for complying with passport and visa requirements.
15. Cancellation or Substitution by Us
We will make commercially reasonable efforts to keep the Itinerary as it has been published; however, the final Itinerary may vary due to availability and factors beyond our control.
We reserve the right to cancel any Tour because of inadequate enrollment that makes the trip not to run in a proper manner or due to our concerns with respect to the safety, health or welfare of our travelers or staff. If we cancel a Tour, our liability is limited to a full refund of your payments to us and we will not be liable for any other costs, damages or refunds of any kind for any loss, delay, inconvenience, disappointment or expense whatsoever in such circumstances. If a Tour in progress must be interrupted or canceled, our liability shall be strictly limited to refund of the recoverable cost of any unused portion of the Tour up to 25% from the quoted tour price per person.
16. Data Protection
In order to process your booking, we need to collect certain personal details from you. Customers agree that their data, in particular Customer's name, address, telephone number, birth date, nationality, gender and credit card details, are collected by DESTINE HOLIDAYS for the carrying out of certain Tours according to the contract. We will not pass any information on to any company and/or organization not responsible for providing any part of your travel arrangements. The information may also be provided to the authorities as required by law. Your data protection will be in place accordingly with your data privacy concluded with DESTINE HOLIDAYS.
